Q. I'd like to watch this movie called Ghostwriter directed by Roman Polanski. However, there is no connection between being a person's ethical merit, and their ability to produce good movies. He's still a horrible person, but it would still be a shame if he has this ability to make good films and it went to waste. That's just my perspective. He belongs in prison for abusing that kid. The only reason he's not is that he's Roman Polanski, the bigshot director. Roman Polanski, the bus driver/accountant/teacher /etc. would be in prison. Double standards suck.
