From Google Video Search: "mental health" How can your mental health get worse after you see a therapist? Q. I can't figure this out. I go see this therapist and I don't like her. But they won't let me have another therapist unless I go before a long drawn out red tape process. But anyways, I call up to get another appointment and the soonest they can get me in is like a month from now. So I told the receptionist, "Somehow my mental health gets worse after I call or visit the mental health association." Asked by guitarman - Thu Dec 10 17:03:14 2009 - Mental Health - 6 Answers - Comments A. It sounds like you and this therapist got off on the wrong foot, and now you've completely decided that she can't help you, (which basically eliminates any chance of working with her effectively). You gotta understand, just going to see a therapist doesn't make everything perfect. You and your therapist need to work together to explore issues and come up with exercises that you can do on your own. If you've already decided that you don't like this therapist, then you're not going to listen to him/her and you wont get better. Successful counseling comes only with when equal efforts are given by therapist and patient. If you REALLY aren't willing to try and work with this therapist, then I would say the whole "red tape process"… [cont.] Answered by - Thu Dec 10 17:21:41 2009 How does the mental health system in america work?
Q. For example, what happens if someone needs to be involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric hospital & has no money or has a severe & enduring mental health problem that needs long term treatment & cannot work etc.. Asked by - Fri Jun 12 09:23:00 2009 - Mental Health - 4 Answers - Comments A. uhh health insurance covers the cost. if admitted to a psyciatric facility you will get automatic medicaid. it covers all the costs. but please dont fall into the system. it is hell and will only make you worst. trust me. if they cant find something wrong with you. they will make something up. cause its the only way for them to make their money. hostpitals are like any other buisness.
